Baldja are delighted to announce the award of the installation andpre-commissioning of Tesla BESS and associated electrical and communicationinfrastructure at multiple sites in Western Australia for Synergy.

Baldja’s scope for the project comprises the design, engineering,procurement, factory inspections and testing, delivery to site, construction,start-up, commissioning and testing of all plant and equipment for the BESS andassociated infrastructure.

This scope of work is underpinned by the Western Australian government’scommitment to find energy solutions for WA’s future energy needs.

Baldja director Frank Mitchell said “This will be a complex scope withfull EPC responsibility, and will showcase Baldja’s capabilities across thecivil, electrical, controls and hydraulics.

“We can leverage our skills, experience and relationship with Tesla inorder to deliver the works in a professional manner.”

Baldja is committing to set aside 10 per cent of its margin arising fromthis project and this amount will be used to support local Indigenous trainingand upskilling programs within the community and supporting the alreadyexisting Indigenous employment commitments it has made.

The project is scheduled to be completed in Q4 of 2021.
